Bloodborne Remaster Work-in-Progress Video Highlights Massive Visual Improvements

A Bloodborne fan-made remaster is currently in the works, and the modder behind the project showcased its current state in a new video.

Modder fromsoftserve already released a few mods that brought noticeable visual improvements to the game but has recently decided to merge some of their modding efforts into a bigger project that promises to bring even more visual improvements to the game, such as better dynamic shadows, a sky rework to make it better match the environment, improved textures and more. Needless to say, even in its current state, the project looks extremely promising.

Fromsoftserve isn't the only modder who's working on Bloodborne, as the emulation improvements achieved by the shadPS4 emulator in the past few weeks have reignited interest in the PlayStation 4 exclusive. A Temporal AA mod was released on Nexus Mods earlier this week, introducing better anti-aliasing to the game, although with a performance cost. A mod removing character light was also released online recently, a small change that still brings some noticeable visual improvements.

While modders are hard at work to improve Bloodborne and create that remaster that Sony doesn't seem to be interested in releasing, the latest developments of the shadPS4 emulators are improving emulation considerably. You can check how much emulation has been improved in the past few days in the video by BrutalSam below.

Bloodborne on PC is being made possible by the aforementioned shadPS4 emulator. You can learn more about it on its official website.
