AMD Ryzen Master Update Brings Real-Time EXPO and New Tuning Features
AMD has rolled out a major update to its Ryzen Master software, now at version 2.14.1.3286, enhancing how enthusiasts can overclock and tune their Ryzen processors and memory. With this update, AMD introduces significant quality-of-life improvements, including the ability to enable AMD EXPO profiles without requiring a system restart. This real-time functionality streamlines the overclocking experience, especially for users optimizing their memory for gaming and productivity.
The update also improves precision for CPU tuning, allowing manual adjustments in 5 MHz increments. This feature gives overclockers more control over their setups without needing to access the BIOS. For memory enthusiasts, additional tuning parameters are now available, enabling deeper customization of memory performance, including tweaks to frequency and latency.
AMD’s continued support for Ryzen 9000 series CPUs and the AM5 platform is further bolstered with the addition of 105W Eco Mode, which brings enhanced power efficiency to 65W and 120W processors. The software now provides a detailed overview of DF P state information in the Home view and offers improved controls for Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) settings.
While these advancements cater to newer hardware, AMD has officially discontinued support for its first- and second-generation Ryzen and Threadripper CPUs. Users with older processors can continue using previous versions of Ryzen Master.
With these updates, AMD aims to simplify and elevate the overclocking process, making it more accessible for both newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts. The latest version of Ryzen Master is available for download from AMD’s official website.
