The game will feature extensively revamped graphics and animations, thanks to the power of Unreal Engine 4. Textures, lighting, and environmental ambiance have been refined to amplify the world’s stylized charm, while cutscenes and combat animations have been elevated to new heights. Blade & Soul NEO introduces “Infinite Windwalk” right from the start, granting players limitless stamina to soar across the world at high speed, leap to greater heights, and show off aerial acrobatics. Combat has also been shaken up with a new skill customization system, where players can use special Skill Books to learn new enhancements and construct unique fighting styles. The overall combat still emphasizes combos, counters, and lightning-fast reflexes, harkening back to Blade & Soul’s original martial arts action gameplay, likened to systems from competitive fighting games.
Pre-order Packages
For those who enjoy PvP, Blade & Soul NEO includes diverse ways to battle other players, such as Field Combat, Faction Combat, and 6v6 Battleground events. Characters can be meticulously designed using the game’s signature creation tool, letting players tailor every aspect of their avatar’s appearance before leaping into the visually enhanced world of Blade & Soul.
It’s worth noting that Blade & Soul previously received an Unreal Engine 4 update a few years ago, but this remaster aims to further enhance visuals, introduce substantial gameplay features, and possibly reignite interest in the long-running MMORPG.
