Corsair Launches "Next-Gen GPU Ready" Program for NVIDIA RTX 50 GPU Compatibility

Corsair has unveiled its "Next-Gen GPU Are Coming" initiative, a marketing strategy aimed at helping consumers select hardware compatible with NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 50 GPUs and AMD's next-gen offerings. This program identifies Corsair’s existing products, including power supplies, PC cases, and cooling components, as optimized for the upcoming high-performance GPUs.

Power Supplies: Fully Prepared for 12V-2x6 Connectors

Corsair’s highlighted RMe, RMX, and RMx SHIFT series PSUs are all modular and come with Cybenetics Gold certification. These power supplies feature 12V-2x6 power connectors, capable of delivering up to 600W—the expected TDP range for NVIDIA's RTX 50 GPUs, including the RTX 5090. This ensures that Corsair's power supplies are fully compatible with next-gen GPUs, eliminating the need for adapters or aftermarket upgrades.

Cases and Cooling Components: Ready for the Future

The program also highlights Corsair’s 3500x series and 4000D Airflow PC cases, which are spacious and designed to support large, high-power GPUs. For cooling, the RS ARGB and iCUE Link series fans are touted as optimized for managing the higher heat output expected from next-gen GPUs. These components promise seamless integration with NVIDIA and AMD's future offerings.

Simplifying the Selection Process for Consumers

Corsair’s "Next-Gen GPU Ready" program doesn’t introduce new products but rather segments existing offerings for easy consumer navigation. By clearly labeling compatible components, Corsair aims to make it simpler for both enthusiasts and newcomers to assemble builds tailored for the latest hardware.

This initiative is particularly helpful as the NVIDIA RTX 50 series GPUs are set to launch soon, featuring advanced capabilities and higher power requirements. The program provides peace of mind for users investing in future-proof systems.
