Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred Owners to Receive Exclusive Content in Upcoming Seasons

The recently launched Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred expansion is set to provide ongoing exclusive content to its owners throughout the upcoming seasons. This exciting news was confirmed by Rod Fergusson, the Diablo Franchise Manager at Blizzard, during an interview with Polygon.

Seasonal Launch: The expansion was strategically launched at the start of Season 6, allowing players to create a Spiritborn character right from the beginning.

Ongoing Development: Fergusson emphasized that the expansion is not just a one-time event. Exclusive features will continue to be developed for Vessel of Hatred owners as the game progresses into Chapter Two.

Exclusive Runewords: Since the launch, Runewords have been exclusive to expansion owners, with more set to be introduced in Season 7.

Patch 2.1 Updates: The upcoming Patch 2.1 will be available on the Public Test Realm, bringing the highly anticipated Armory feature, new Witch-like powers, and additional content.

Free Trial Opportunity: Currently, Diablo IV is offering a free trial for both the expansion and the main game, allowing players to experience the game up to level 25. Fergusson noted that this initiative aims to welcome back players who may have taken a break, making it easier for them to jump back into the action without the hassle of extensive preparation.

Fergusson's insights highlight the commitment to enhancing the player experience and ensuring that Vessel of Hatred remains a valuable addition to the Diablo IV universe beyond just the initial season.
