Final Fantasy VII Rebirth PC Launch Promises Scalability and Steam Deck Support

The countdown is on—Final Fantasy VII Rebirth PC will launch next Thursday, and developer Square Enix has provided an enticing look at the game's scalability in a new trailer. The PC port promises to cater to a wide range of setups, from modest hardware to high-end rigs, with impressive performance metrics across its Low, Medium, and Ultra presets.

In the latest trailer, Square Enix demonstrates the game's adaptability across various configurations:

  • Low preset: Maintains 30 FPS with an Intel Core i3 8100 CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU.

  • Medium preset: Runs at 60 FPS using an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 GPU.
