GameMax Launches Dragon Knight 2 Full Tower, Featuring 8 HDD Slots and ARGB Fans at $105

GameMax has officially launched the Dragon Knight 2, a full-tower case that builds on the design of its predecessor with slight upgrades while maintaining the iconic eight-slot HDD support for high-capacity storage needs. With its massive form factor and spacious interior, the Dragon Knight 2 is tailored for high-end gaming PCs and workstation systems, blending functionality with aesthetic appeal.

A Tower Built for Power Users

The Dragon Knight 2 supports E-ATX motherboards, offering compatibility with smaller formats like ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ATX. Its spacious layout accommodates up to eight HDDs, ideal for users requiring extensive storage. Alternatively, users can install 8 SSDs plus an additional 2 SSDs in place of HDDs. This storage rack design recalls the glory days of full-tower builds, catering to enthusiasts and professionals who need ample storage for gaming libraries, creative projects, or server functionality.

Adding to its versatility is a built-in HDD hot-swap bay and a 3-in-1 card reader, ensuring easy access and convenience for swapping drives or managing media.

Enhanced Cooling and ARGB Fans

The case comes pre-installed with five ARGB fans, delivering effective cooling while adding a vibrant touch of RGB lighting. The fans are connected to an ARGB hub, allowing users to fully customize the lighting effects. Cooling options include support for 240mm AIO radiators on the top and 120mm at the rear, although the front and bottom areas are restricted due to the storage rack.

The ventilated design—with airflow optimized at the front, top, bottom, and rear—ensures effective cooling for high-performance components. Dust filters on the top and bottom make maintenance easy and help keep the internals clean.

Design and Clearance

The Dragon Knight 2 sports a clean design with ample cable management features, accessible through strategically placed cutouts in the motherboard tray. A 20mm cable clearance at the side panel ensures neat organization. The acrylic side panel provides a clear view of the build’s internals, highlighting the RGB-lit components.

Although complete clearance specifications haven’t been disclosed, it is expected to match its predecessor, offering 420mm of VGA clearance, 170mm CPU cooler clearance, and plenty of room for cable management.

Price and Availability

The GameMax Dragon Knight 2 is priced at $105.90, making it an attractive option for users seeking high capacity and functionality in a full tower. Availability details are yet to be disclosed, so stay tuned for updates.
