Killing Floor 3 Delayed Until Later in 2025, Tripwire Interactive Announces

Tripwire Interactive has officially announced a delay for the highly anticipated title, Killing Floor 3, originally scheduled for a March 25 release. The game’s launch is now postponed to an unspecified date later this year, according to an update shared on the official Killing Floor social media.

In the statement, Tripwire Interactive cited feedback from the recent closed beta as the key reason behind the delay:

“After taking the time to gather and discuss feedback from our recent closed beta, we've realized that we missed the mark. Our goal isn't just to make Killing Floor 3 an ambitious step forward for the franchise, but also to maintain the core experience that you've come to know and love.”

The developers are working closely with their parent company, Embracer Group, to address several concerns highlighted by beta testers, including performance and stability, user interface improvements, lighting enhancements, and weapon feedback. Additionally, the team confirmed that post-launch updates are planned, specifically allowing players to independently select perk classes and characters.

Tripwire reassured fans that further updates would be communicated promptly:

“We look forward to another opportunity to show you a more polished version of Killing Floor 3, and when we're ready to share more details, you will be the first to know.”

Refunds and Pre-order FAQ

For players who pre-ordered and no longer wish to wait, Tripwire Interactive has offered the option of a refund. An official FAQ regarding refunds and further pre-order details is available on the game's official channels.
