Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Release Date Moves Up to February 4, 2025

Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver have announced an earlier release date for the highly anticipated Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, now set to launch on February 4, 2025, a full week earlier than the initially planned February 11. The decision likely reflects their confidence in the game’s polished state, as it has officially gone gold, signaling that core development is complete, and the team is now focusing on minor bug fixes and additional polish.

The sequel to the critically acclaimed Kingdom Come: Deliverance will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Fans of the franchise have even more to look forward to, as Warhorse Studios has confirmed that a new story trailer will premiere tomorrow. Alongside the trailer, the team will also release the console and PC specifications, including details on PlayStation 5 Pro enhancements and the game’s Quality and Performance modes for consoles.

Building on the legacy of its predecessor, which sold over 8 million copies, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II promises an even deeper and more historically accurate experience. The team at Warhorse Studios has invested heavily in ensuring the sequel maintains the immersive and authentic charm of the original while delivering enhanced visuals, refined gameplay, and a compelling narrative.

Despite the industry trend of moving to Unreal Engine, Warhorse Studios has opted to stick with Crytek's CryEngine, ensuring the game remains visually stunning and immersive for history enthusiasts. A recent 43-minute gameplay video, part of IGN First, showcased extensive gameplay, confirming that the sequel retains the meticulous detail and realism fans loved in the first installment.

With only a couple of months until release, the excitement is palpable. Whether you're a fan of the original game or new to the series, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is shaping up to be one of the standout titles of early 2025.
