LEGO Horizon Adventures Rumored for Xbox Release in Early 2025

LEGO Horizon Adventures, the playful reimagining of Aloy’s journey from Horizon Zero Dawn, could finally be making its way to Xbox consoles, according to fresh rumors. The game initially launched on PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation platforms, leaving Xbox players out of the brick-built fun.

The rumor comes from Just Play It, a source with little prior credibility in the leak scene. According to their report, the reason for the delayed Xbox version is linked to the game’s modest commercial performance on other platforms. Allegedly, developers Guerrilla Games and Studio Gobo may now be looking to expand their audience to recoup sales, with an Xbox release tentatively planned for early 2025.

This would mark a shift in the developers’ approach. Before the game's launch, Guerrilla provided a vague explanation for excluding Xbox, citing their focus on optimizing the game for its existing platforms. However, this reasoning seemed to leave the door open for future platform expansions.

LEGO Horizon Adventures brings the expansive world of Horizon Zero Dawn to life in charming LEGO form, aiming to retell Aloy’s first adventure in a family-friendly manner. The game stands out for blending the iconic landscapes of the Horizon universe with lighthearted LEGO humor and simplified mechanics, making it accessible to younger audiences while retaining the magic of the original game.

With its rumored Xbox release, the game could appeal to a broader demographic, especially given the Xbox platform’s growing interest in family-friendly titles and cross-platform partnerships.

What are your thoughts on this potential release? Is LEGO Horizon Adventures a must-play for Xbox fans, or is it too late for the game to make an impact? Let us know in the comments.
