Lords of the Fallen 2.0 Rolls Out: 50+ Post‑Launch Updates, Fully Shared Co‑op Progression, and a Free Friend’s Pass

CI Games and Hexworks have released Lords of the Fallen 2.0, the definitive edition that consolidates more than fifty post‑launch patches into a single, feature‑rich update. The roll‑out is live on Epic Games Store, Windows Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S; a brief technical issue is delaying the Steam build, but PC users will receive the patch “shortly.”

Key Additions

  • Shared‑Progression Co‑op – Both players now retain boss and beacon progress when playing on comparable New‑Game cycles (boss count within one). Defeated bosses, lit beacons, loot, and 100 % vigor persist in both worlds. Full revive support returns 100 % vigor to the downed player.

  • Free Friend’s Pass – Any owner may invite a friend who does not own the game; the invitee gains unrestricted access to the character creator, the full tutorial region, and the complete campaign while linked in co‑op. Personal character advancement and loot carry over to future sessions.

  • Combat & Movement Overhaul – Refined lock‑on logic, tighter hit detection, faster evasions, a dedicated jump button, enhanced weapon SFX, and new grievous‑strike prompts.

  • Visual & UX Upgrades – Expanded facial morphs, higher‑resolution skin textures, diversified male/female body types, a cleaner HUD, improved inventory categorisation, and a persistent in‑game guidebook for all tutorials.

  • Umbral Lamp Guidance – An optional path‑finding pulse highlights critical routes across Mournstead’s dual‑realm geography, aiding newcomers without diminishing exploration.

    • PlayStation Spring Sale (April 9th – April 23rd):
Standard Edition: 72% off at $19.60
Deluxe Upgrade Pack (from Standard to Deluxe): 72% off at $5.60

    • Xbox Spring Sale (April 17th – May 1st):
Standard Edition: 70% off at $20.99, also included in Game Pass
Deluxe Edition: 70% off at $23.99

    • Steam Custom Sale (April 17th – May 1st):
Standard Edition: 67% off at $19.80
Deluxe Edition: 67% off at $23.10

    • Epic Games Store Savings (April 10th – April 24th):
Standard Edition: 67% off at $19.80
Deluxe Edition: 67% off at $23.10

Existing owners receive Patch 2.0 free of charge; newcomers can enter at historically low prices during the spring promotions. CI Games emphasises that further updates will primarily address balance and bug fixes, positioning 2.0 as the studio’s “thank‑you” capstone to the community.
