Marvel Rivals Announces Hawkeye for Launch Roster, New Map Revealed
Marvel Games and NetEase Games have exciting news for fans as they announce that Hawkeye will be joining the launch roster for Marvel Rivals. The game is shaping up to have a diverse and engaging lineup of characters, making it a must-play for superhero enthusiasts.
Key Details:
Release Date: December 6, 2024. The game will be free to play with all heroes unlocked at launch.
New Map: The game will feature a new map called Birnin T'Challa, a futuristic city set in the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda.
Season 0: The game will kick off with Season 0, titled "Doom's Rise," which will last for one month. Players can expect:
33 heroes to experiment with.
8 maps available for both Quick Match and Competitive modes.
A Conquest map and a Practice Range for players to hone their skills.
Additional Features:
Battle Pass: A shorter battle pass will be available, containing half the content of a full seasonal pass, priced accordingly for the month-long season.
In-Game Store: Regular rotations of costumes and cosmetics inspired by the comics and the MCU will be available, including the Imperial Protocol series, which reflects the rich culture of Wakanda.
Hawkeye is the latest addition to the roster and will be the fourth character to receive an Imperial Protocol costume, with more details on this cosmetic set to be revealed soon.
