Additionally, MindsEye players will gain access to exclusive bonus missions created using ARCADIA, Build A Rocket Boy’s proprietary game creation platform, previously known as Everywhere. Initially revealed as part of the broader Everywhere project two years ago, MindsEye rapidly evolved into its own standalone, full-fledged AAA game.
Leslie Benzies, former producer of the acclaimed Grand Theft Auto series (III to V) and now Game Director for MindsEye, expressed excitement for the game’s release:
"We can’t wait for players to immerse themselves in our tightly crafted game, MindsEye, with a thought-provoking story where technology and ambition collide, and the inevitable consequences unravel."
Today’s announcement was accompanied by a gripping new story trailer, showcasing Redrock, a futuristic city dominated by automated robots and interconnected through pervasive algorithms. This city acts as a profound experiment into humanity’s complex relationship with technology, raising questions about the limits of human and artificial potential.
The narrative centers around Jacob Diaz, a former soldier burdened with fragmented memories caused by a mysterious neural implant—MindsEye. As Diaz embarks on a perilous journey to uncover the truth, he faces increasingly lethal threats driven by cutting-edge AI, experimental technology, and military power. Players will navigate intense combat scenarios across various modes of transportation and confront tough moral and strategic decisions, where survival hinges on every choice.
