Monster Hunter Wilds Beta Highlights PlayStation 5 Pro Reaching 80 FPS in Performance Mode

The open beta for Monster Hunter Wilds has given fans a taste of how the game performs across various consoles, with a recent comparison by ElAnalistaDeBits showing that the PlayStation 5 Pro hits an impressive 80 FPS in Performance Mode. The comparison video reveals that the Xbox Series S averages 40 FPS at 1080p, while Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 average around 50 FPS in both 1080p Performance Mode and 2160p Resolution Mode.

The PS5 Pro takes it a step further, averaging 45 FPS in Resolution Mode and up to 65 FPS in Performance Mode, sometimes peaking at 80 FPS. However, occasional dips below 60 FPS suggest some instability, which is expected for an open beta without a dedicated patch. Performance Mode sacrifices texture detail, terrain, and draw distance to reach higher frame rates, though console and PC stability still vary widely in all modes.

As this beta was likely built on an older version, fans can expect performance improvements in the full launch version. Additionally, recent datamines hint at new content and features to be added at launch, promising a deeper experience for players when the game officially releases.
