Mortal Kombat 1 Brings Festive Cheer with Free Holiday Events and Exclusive Rewards
The holiday season is spilling into Mortal Kombat 1 as Warner Bros. Games announces a series of in-game events running from December 19 through December 30. Packed with festive spirit, these free-to-play events bring a flurry of new Towers of Time, unlocking exclusive holiday-themed character palettes. If you’re a fan of decking out your fighters in festive gear, this is your chance to dive in and collect some seasonal loot.
Here’s a rundown of the five new Towers of Time events and the exclusive rewards available for completion:
Bloody Snow Tower (December 19–25): Unlock Yuletide Necromancer and Christmas Evil palettes for Quan Chi.
Naughty List Tower (December 21–26): Earn Souls of Winter and Holiday Collection palettes for Ermac.
A Christmas Krampus Tower (December 23–30): Gain Holiday Hero and Winter Wonderman palettes for Takeda.
'Twas the Night Tower (December 25–30): Grab the Angel on High and Holidazzle palettes for Cyrax.
Final Present Tower (December 26–30): Collect the Eat, Drink, and Be Lethal and Bah, Humbug palettes for Sektor.
Holiday Skins and Khaos Reigns Kollection
In addition to the free events, players can purchase festive skins for Kameo Fighters Frost and Sareena, along with returning holiday skins such as Santa’s Helper Reptile, Krampus General Shao, and Mrs. Klause Kitana. These bring a touch of seasonal spirit to your roster.
If you’re new to Mortal Kombat 1, the Khaos Reigns Kollection is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. This edition includes:

1,250 Dragon Krystals for in-game purchases.
For existing players, the Khaos Reigns expansion is also available as an upgrade, introducing a new story expansion and Kombat Pack 2, which adds fan-favorites Cyrax, Sektor, and Noob Saibot.
New Guest Fighters
Guest fighters are also joining the fray in Kombat Pack 2. Ghostface from Scream is already available, with Conan the Barbarian set for release on January 21 (early access included). The T-1000 Terminator is also slated to join the roster, though an official release date is yet to be announced.
