NACON Announces Accessories and Games for Nintendo Switch 2 Release Between April and September

NACON, the French publisher and accessory creator, has announced its plans for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, confirming a lineup of peripherals and games tailored for the highly anticipated console. This news comes just a week after Nintendo officially revealed the Switch 2, with a dedicated Nintendo Direct scheduled for April to provide further details.

In a recently shared report, NACON revealed that it already has a range of 16 accessories designed specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2. These include:

  • Foldable driving wheels

  • Carrying cases

  • Tempered glass protectors

Details on these products are available on NACON’s official website, where they are showcased at reasonable prices. While these items are not yet available for purchase, they are set to launch alongside the console. NACON also hinted at the possibility of themed accessories, such as Mario- and Zelda-inspired items, following the console's release.

Nintendo Switch 2 Release Window

Although the official release date of the Nintendo Switch 2 remains unconfirmed, NACON's report suggests the console is expected to launch in the first half of the fiscal year 2025/26. This aligns with NACON's projection of increased business activity during this period, driven by both accessory sales and game releases.

Games for the Nintendo Switch 2

NACON also confirmed its readiness on the software front, with multiple games prepared for the Nintendo Switch 2. A snippet from NACON's report, shared by industry analyst MauroNL on X, indicates that several games developed during 2024/25 will be released in the next fiscal year.

NACON is set to showcase its upcoming titles during the NACON Connect Event on March 6, 2025. At least 10 new games are expected to be revealed, with the most significant releases highlighted during this event.

In their report, NACON expressed confidence in their accessory and game lineup for the Nintendo Switch 2, predicting a strong boost to their business. They also emphasized the importance of accessories and games delayed from 2024/25, which will now contribute to the fiscal year 2025/26.
