That said, a separate Nintendo Direct specifically focused on the Switch 2 is scheduled to arrive next week, making this an exciting two-week period for fans of the platform.

While no specific titles have been teased for tomorrow’s Direct, strong speculation points toward Metroid Prime 4: Beyond making a much-anticipated appearance. The title is still officially set to launch on the current Nintendo Switch, although many expect it to be a cross-generation title that could also take advantage of the Switch 2’s improved hardware capabilities.
