No More Room in Hell 2: First Early Access Update Brings New Ending, Weapons, and Improvements

Torn Banner Studios, the creators of Chivalry 2, have launched the first major Early Access update for their eight-player, co-op horror shooter, No More Room in Hell 2. Dubbed the Reinforcement Update, this patch introduces an array of exciting new features, quality-of-life improvements, and gameplay enhancements, making this zombie-infested survival game even more thrilling.

Alternate Ending for Power Plant Map

A new ending scenario has been added to the Power Plant map, offering players more variety and replayability. This alternate escape route adds a fresh challenge for seasoned survivors.

New Weapons

Players can now wield the M7A1 Assault Rifle and M1911A1 Pistol, adding firepower diversity to their zombie-slaying arsenal.

Expanded Skills and Character Customization

New skills have been introduced alongside enhanced character generator rules, giving players even more ways to personalize their playstyle.

Enhanced Zombie Behavior

Zombies now react more naturally to damage with improved hit responses, resulting in smoother and more immersive combat.

UI/UX Enhancements

The update includes a cleaner, more intuitive interface, and the ability to customize HUD elements for a tailored experience.

The update addresses numerous bugs and balances difficulty levels, making higher difficulties more punishing for veteran players. These adjustments ensure a fair yet challenging experience across all modes.

The Early Access Roadmap, shared on the game’s official X account, outlines upcoming features like:

  • A robust infection system

  • New maps

  • Weapon attachments

  • Alternative game modes

The developers also teased conceptual ideas that promise to further expand the game’s content and mechanics in the coming months.
