During its CES 2025 keynote, NVIDIA unveiled groundbreaking developments for its Avatar Cloud Engine (ACE) technology. Initially introduced at Computex 2023, ACE has evolved to power dynamic AI characters, companions, and bosses, enhancing gameplay across major PC and mobile titles like PUBG, NARAKA: Bladepoint, inZoi, and MIR5.
AI-Powered Allies in PUBG and inZoi
KRAFTON's popular battle royale title, PUBG, introduces PUBG Ally, a co-playable AI teammate feature powered by Mistral-Nemo-Minitron-8B-128k-instruct, a small language model. These AI allies can communicate using in-game jargon, strategize, loot, drive, and engage in combat.
KRAFTON’s upcoming life simulation game, inZoi, features Smart Zoi AI companions who adapt dynamically to in-game scenarios. From helping NPCs in need to providing context-aware reactions, these characters bring depth and realism to the simulation.
NARAKA: Bladepoint Adds AI Teammates
NetEase announced that its hit title, NARAKA: Bladepoint, will integrate NVIDIA ACE AI teammates, capable of offering gear suggestions, tactical advice, and combat assistance. This feature will debut in the mobile version (playable on PC) in March, with a native PC update coming later this year.
