NVIDIA DLSS Games Update: Assetto Corsa EVO, SMITE 2, Dynasty Warriors: Origins, and Honkai Star Rail
NVIDIA may have wowed the world at CES 2025 with the introduction of DLSS 4, but that hasn’t stopped developers from continuing to adopt earlier versions of DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation in their latest PC releases. Several games are receiving new or expanded DLSS support, allowing GeForce RTX owners to squeeze more performance from their systems.
Indie roguelite shooter Tankhead, available on the Epic Games Store, just added both DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation (DLSS 3.0). As Whitaker, the pilot of a mobile light tank, players can traverse the Event Containment Area in search of safe zones. The addition of DLSS should help maintain smoother frame rates during intense combat sequences.
SMITE 2 also adds a trifecta of DLSS Super Resolution, DLAA, and Reflex, right as the Unreal Engine 5-powered sequel transitions from Closed Alpha to Open Beta. This third-person action MOBA from Hi-Rez Studios is now free to play on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) and on current-gen consoles. With the latest update, players will find five new gods—Aladdin, Geb, Mulan, Agni, and Ullr—alongside snappier performance thanks to DLSS and Reflex.
In the free-to-play, turn-based sci-fi gacha RPG Honkai: Star Rail, developer HoYoverse is poised to launch update 3.0. The patch brings the new world Amphoreus and fresh main story content, as well as DLSS Super Resolution for PC players. Considering the game’s cinematic combat and environment detail, the extra performance boost should be welcome for those aiming to run Honkai Star Rail at higher frame rates.
Racing sim Assetto Corsa EVO arrives in Early Access on January 16, built on a fully overhauled game engine with dynamic weather, 24-hour cycles, VR, and triple-monitor support. Developer KUNOS Simulazioni confirms that NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution is integrated on day one, providing a frame rate uplift for high-speed enthusiasts who want to dial up the realism. The official system requirements show a demanding specification, but VR and multi-monitor users will benefit from the extra performance overhead offered by DLSS.
Finally, Dynasty Warriors: Origins will release on January 17 with built-in support for DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation, letting NVIDIA RTX players enjoy higher frame rates in Omega Force’s latest hack-and-slash iteration. The newly disclosed system requirements feature recommended specs such as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 for 1080p 60FPS performance.
