NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 & RTX 5080 GPUs Receive First Official Driver Support

NVIDIA has launched the GeForce Game Ready 572.16 drivers, which notably add support for the new GeForce RTX 5090 and GeForce RTX 5080 graphics cards. As part of this release, the driver also brings enhancements to numerous existing and upcoming titles, including first-ever integrations for DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, new Ultra-quality ray tracing presets, and broader expansions for NVIDIA technologies like RTX Mega Geometry. The driver can be downloaded directly from NVIDIA’s official website.

This driver update is timely given NVIDIA’s rollout of DLSS 4 across multiple titles. Here are a few of the highlights:

  • Cyberpunk 2077: Upgraded DLSS integration to DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation.

  • Alan Wake 2: Introduces DLSS 4 and the first-ever use of NVIDIA RTX Mega Geometry, as well as a brand-new “Ultra” ray tracing preset.

  • Hogwarts Legacy: Upgrades to DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation and adds DLSS Ray Reconstruction.

  • Over 75 games and applications are set to implement DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation upon or shortly after launch.

Furthermore, NVIDIA revealed that Black Myth: Wukong, Marvel Rivals, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and NARAKA: BLADEPOINT will add DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation soon, underscoring the growing ecosystem of titles adopting NVIDIA’s latest AI-driven graphics features.
