During Sony's CES 2025 presentation, PlayStation Productions unveiled exciting updates on its expanding slate of adaptations for beloved gaming franchises. From films to anime and TV series, here’s what’s on the horizon:
Horizon Film Adaptation in Development
After plans for a Netflix series based on Guerrilla's Horizon franchise fell apart, PlayStation Productions has teamed up with Columbia Pictures to develop a feature film. While details are scarce, the movie is in its early stages, leaving fans eagerly anticipating how Aloy’s story will translate to the big screen.
Helldivers Heads to Hollywood
Fresh off the success of Helldivers 2, PlayStation Productions has confirmed a Helldivers movie in collaboration with Sony Pictures. Though details remain under wraps, fans of the co-op shooter can expect an action-packed cinematic experience.
Ghost of Tsushima Gets an Anime
