Samsung has once again set the bar for monitor technology with the debut of its 2025 lineup at CES 2025. The new collection includes revolutionary entries in the Odyssey Gaming Monitor, Smart Monitor M9, and ViewFinity S8 series, designed to cater to gamers, creators, and productivity enthusiasts.
Odyssey OLED G6 and G8: Gaming Redefined
Samsung introduced two industry-first OLED gaming monitors. The Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF) debuts as the world’s first 27-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor, delivering a stunning 3840x2160 resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and ultra-dense 165 PPI. It’s a must-have for gamers and creators who crave exceptional detail and fluid visuals.
Meanwhile, the Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF) is the world’s first OLED screen with a 500Hz refresh rate at QHD (2560x1440) resolution. This model prioritizes lightning-fast response times and ultra-smooth gameplay for competitive gamers. Both models feature 0.03ms GTG response times, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatibility to minimize screen tearing and flickering.
Additionally, Samsung previewed the Odyssey 3D (G90XF), a 27-inch gaming monitor that offers customizable glasses-free 3D via AI-based 2D-to-3D video conversion, enhancing immersion like never before.
Smart Monitor M9: AI-Driven Entertainment and Efficiency
The Smart Monitor M9 (M90SF) takes interactivity to the next level with its AI Picture Optimizer, which adjusts display settings based on content type, ensuring optimal visuals for gaming, video, or productivity tasks. Its 4K AI Upscaling Pro further enhances low-resolution content to crystal-clear UHD quality.
This 32-inch monitor features a sleek design, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, and a built-in 4K camera, making it a versatile addition to any setup.
ViewFinity S8: Productivity Gets Bigger
The ViewFinity S8 (S80UD) is Samsung’s largest 16:9 4K monitor yet, with a massive 37-inch display offering a 34% increase in screen space over previous models. With 99% sRGB color gamut, TÜV Rheinland certification, and Intelligent Eye Care technology, the S8 is tailored for creative professionals and multitaskers.
A built-in KVM switch supports seamless multitasking across multiple devices, while a 90W USB-C connection simplifies accessory management and device charging.
