Slitterhead Demo Now Live Across All Platforms, Save Data Carries Over

Bokeh Game Studio has officially launched a free demo for Slitterhead across all platforms, giving players the chance to experience the first chapter of the highly anticipated horror game, including its tutorial. For those who decide to purchase the full game after trying the demo, the save data will transfer seamlessly.

To sweeten the deal, the game is currently discounted by 30% on PlayStation, Steam, and the Epic Game Store, though, unfortunately, Xbox players won’t see any price reductions. Additionally, the physical PS5 Day 1 Edition, distributed in North America by XSEED Games, is now available at a $10 discount, reducing its price to $49.99. This edition includes exclusive collectibles like a CD of original tracks composed by Akira Yamaoka, a 100-page art book, a sticker sheet, and a custom outer box.

A Mixed Reception

Anticipation for Slitterhead was high, thanks in large part to its development being led by Keiichiro Toyama, the legendary creator of Silent Hill and Gravity Rush. However, the game has received mixed reviews since its launch.

What’s Included in the Demo?

The free demo introduces players to the mechanics of the game, blending its horror elements with a cinematic narrative. It offers a taste of the story-driven atmosphere while allowing players to experience the game's unique mix of chase sequences and combat.

Will you be trying out the Slitterhead demo? Let us know your first impressions and if the game lives up to its haunting premise!
