Throne and Liberty Gets Free ‘Wilds of Talandre’ Expansion on March 6

Amazon Games has announced the release date for Wilds of Talandre, the first free expansion for Throne and Liberty. Launching on March 6, this substantial update will introduce a brand-new zone in NCSoft’s MMORPG, delivering new storyline content, an increased level cap (to 55), and additional field dungeons and bosses. The expansion will follow a Milestone system, gradually unlocking new regional events, archbosses, and field dungeons after its initial debut. More details can be found on the official website.

Solo Dungeons and Group Content Updates
One highlight of Wilds of Talandre is the introduction of solo dungeons, an alternative path for players looking to improve their skills and gather loot before venturing into more challenging group content. For co-op enthusiasts, Throne and Liberty will expand group dungeons to a new third tier, or 3-Star Dungeons, accessible at level 55 with a minimum 3,500 Combat Power. The following 3-Star Dungeons will be available at launch:

  • Rancorwood

  • Mansion of Tragedy

  • Chapel of Madness

  • Cruel Witch’s Garden

  • Assassin’s Lab

Potential loot in these dungeons includes Epic II Gear Sets, Training Dew, Amitoi, Abyssal Contract Token Points, and various crafting materials. Players can also gather items to craft Dimensional Soul Shards in each 3-Star Dungeon.

Nebula Island: A New Cross-Server PvPvE Experience
On Nebula Island, a newly introduced cross-server PvPvE activity, players can spend up to seven hours weekly (extendable with Nebula Charge Stones). The area features a central Resistance Surveillance Camp village and six distinct regions—one being a safe “Fog Forest” and four war zones where open PvP is always enabled. Multiple hunting grounds and portals extend from the camp, along with hourly events and limited-participation field boss battles.

Revamped Weapon Mastery & New Artifact System
Wilds of Talandre will overhaul the Weapon Mastery system while also introducing a new Artifact System, collectible from Nebula Island and the Talandre region’s Abyss Dungeons. Artifacts consist of six pieces: four Talistones, a Solar Stone, and a Lunar Stone. Fourteen sets exist in three rarity tiers (Common, Uncommon, Rare). Equipping 2, 4, or 6 matching Artifact pieces grants additional set bonuses; Solar Stones provide Active Skills, and Lunar Stones confer Passive Skills when equipped.

Lifestyle Additions
Rounding out the expansion, Throne and Liberty will receive new recreational activities and crafting perks:

  • 24 new fish and 4 new fishing rods

  • Additional collectibles

  • 10 new cooking recipes and food items

  • 5 types of craftable Elixirs (Excellent Attack/Defence, Rare Attack/Defence/Purification) now available for cooking
