Vermintide 2 Introduces Exciting 4v4 Versus Mode
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 has finally rolled out its much-anticipated Versus Mode, allowing players to engage in thrilling 4v4 battles. Players can select from the Five Heroes or the Pactsworn characters to compete against one another in intense confrontations.
New Versus Mode Features
Released in 2018, Warhammer: Vermintide 2's new Versus Mode offers a fresh way for players to experience the game. Developed by Fatshark, this mode introduces several exciting features:
Asymmetrical PvP+E Experience: Players form teams of up to four Heroes who face off against AI enemies and four human-controlled Pactsworn players.
Round-Based Matches: Each match consists of multiple rounds where teams alternate roles between Heroes and Pactsworn. The Heroes engage in gameplay similar to Adventure mode, while Pactsworn players, controlling Special characters, aim to thwart them.
Character Variety: Players can choose from the Ubersreik Five Heroes and the newly playable Pactsworn characters, which include Skaven and Rotblood Tribe. Each character offers unique abilities, enhancing the competitive experience.
Reimagined Maps: Existing PvE maps are redesigned for PvP gameplay, providing a fresh environment for battles.
Progression Systems: Each Hero features three careers to master, with exclusive challenges and rewards tied to the Versus mode.
