Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Announce Limited-Time Alolan Exeggutor Tera Raid and Flamigo Mass Outbreak Events

Trainers, mark your calendars! Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have unveiled two exciting events for mid-January: a Five-Star Tera Raid battle featuring Alolan Exeggutor and a Mass Outbreak starring Flamigo. These events offer a rare opportunity to catch Alolan Exeggutor without requiring The Indigo Disk DLC.

Both events will launch after the conclusion of the Year of the Snake Mass Outbreak event, starting on Thursday, January 16, at 7:00 PM Eastern, and wrapping up on Sunday, January 19, at 6:59 PM Eastern. With just three days to participate, trainers must act quickly to seize these opportunities.

Alolan Exeggutor, known as the Coconut Pokemon, debuted in Pokemon Red and Blue and later gained a tropical regional variant in Pokemon Sun and Moon. Its Alolan form transformed from a Grass/Psychic type to a Grass/Dragon dual-type, inspired by towering palm trees. This versatile mixed attacker boasts moves like Dragon Hammer, Wood Hammer, and Zen Headbutt.

During the Tera Raid event, Alolan Exeggutor will appear as a Dragon Tera type at Level 75. Trainers are advised to bring strong Fairy-type Pokemon such as Tinkaton, Sylveon, or Zacian to counter this formidable opponent effectively.
