ARCTIC Launches Senza: A Fully Passive-Cooled Under-Desk PC Powered by AMD Ryzen 5000G Series

ARCTIC, has introduced the Senza, an innovative under-desk PC designed to deliver silent performance, high efficiency, and a clutter-free workspace. Unlike conventional desktops, the Senza is purpose-built to mount discreetly beneath the user's desk, optimizing both workspace aesthetics and airflow.

The Senza sports a design reminiscent of a network switch, with dimensions of 282mm (W) x 618mm (L) x approximately 120mm (H). It accommodates up to three APU options from AMD’s Ryzen 5000G family: the Ryzen 5 5500GT, Ryzen 7 5700G, and the Ryzen 7 5700G Pro. These APUs bring solid integrated graphics and multicore CPU performance ideal for office workloads, digital signage, and light multimedia tasks.

One of the standout features of the Senza is its completely passive cooling architecture. The system integrates a custom compact motherboard utilizing the AM4 socket and full-size DDR4 DIMMs, all enclosed in a massive heatsink chassis with embedded copper heat pipes to facilitate rapid thermal dissipation without any active fans. This ensures total silence during operation—a major advantage for professional environments.

Out of the box, Senza comes equipped with 32GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD, catering to memory-intensive and storage-heavy applications. Connectivity is robust, offering 2.5GbE LAN, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3.

For ease of access, ARCTIC has implemented a modular front I/O panel designed to be installed beneath the desk’s edge, offering convenient access to USB Type-A, USB Type-C, audio jacks, and power/reset buttons. Rear I/O ports include 2x USB 3.2, 2x USB 2.0, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2, and audio in/out jacks. The Senza supports quad-display output, making it a viable option for workstations or digital display arrays.

Senza will ship with either Windows 11 Home N or Pro N editions, aimed primarily at European markets. These versions exclude some media features such as Windows Media Player, Skype, and bundled video/music apps. However, these can be re-enabled via the downloadable Microsoft Media Feature Pack.

Although ARCTIC has confirmed that the Senza will target both personal and commercial customers, pricing and launch date details are still under wraps.
