Atomfall Will Require RTX 2060 GPU and 16GB RAM
Rebellion’s latest survival action title, Atomfall, is set to launch in just two weeks, and the British studio has unveiled the minimum system requirements for the PC version. The Asura engine–powered game won’t occupy a huge chunk of your storage, but it does demand a fairly modern system, as shown in the official minimum specs:
-
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 10 or later
Processor: Intel CPU Core i5-9400f or equivalent
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB or equivalent
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 60 GB available space
Described by some as Rebellion’s answer to Fallout, Atomfall offers a post-apocalyptic British setting inspired by historical events such as the 1957 Windscale Fire. However, the gameplay leans more toward survival and action than full-blown roleplaying. Players traverse a quarantined region scarred by nuclear disaster, encountering references to folk horror and even nods to series like Doctor Who.
According to Rebellion, Atomfall presents a non-linear world brimming with ambiguous moral choices and layered characters. The narrative adapts to player decisions, encouraging multiple playthroughs to uncover new story paths and outcomes.
A new features trailer was also released. You can watch it here:
Players won’t be able to rely on constant run-and-gun tactics. Instead, Atomfall forces them to scavenge for supplies, craft gear, and use ranged and melee weapons thoughtfully. Ammo scarcity intensifies the tension, and fans of Rebellion’s Sniper Elite might recognize a system for managing heart rate to steady aim, hinting at the methodical approach required to survive the quarantined zone.
Atomfall launches on March 27 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X. A Deluxe Edition offering three days of early access, along with in-game items and access to a future expansion, will also be available. Additionally, subscribers to Game Pass can play Atomfall at launch without extra charge.
