Forever Skies Co-Op Mode Launches December 9: Build, Survive, Explore Together

Far From Home is bringing a major update to their first-person survival game, Forever Skies. On December 9, a 4-player Co-Op mode launches on PC via Steam, letting you team up with friends to scavenge resources, build airships, and navigate Earth's toxic wastelands together.

Features of the Co-Op Update

  • Collaborative Survival: Work with up to three friends to gather resources, upgrade your airship, and strategize against environmental hazards.

  • Improved Game Mechanics: Alongside Co-Op, Forever Skies has undergone significant changes, including reworked progression, enhanced world design, and new content to keep players engaged.

  • Airship Management: Build and maintain a high-tech airship that serves as your mobile base, complete with research stations and resource storage.

The update will also include a final closed beta from November 27 to December 9, accessible to all current Forever Skies owners. Additionally, the game is on sale for 25% off during the Steam Autumn Sale, running until December 4—a perfect opportunity for newcomers to jump in.

For those unfamiliar, Forever Skies immerses you in a post-apocalyptic Earth devastated by ecological disaster. As a returning explorer, you’ll gather viral pathogens to cure a mysterious illness, fend off dangers, and survive amid toxic skies.

Looking ahead, the full game will release in early 2025 for both PC and PlayStation 5.
