Fortnite Season OG Rumored for Permanent Return Starting December

Fortnite fans may be in for a nostalgic treat, as insiders HYPEX and ShiinaBR report that Fortnite Season OG could return permanently in December. According to their sources, all Chapter 1 seasons will rotate monthly, complete with the original item pool, and will support both Build and Zero Build modes. The official announcement is expected at The Game Awards on December 12.

Fortnite’s recent Season OG event set records, drawing over 44.7 million players in a single day, just months after Epic Games' major layoffs. The huge response demonstrated the enduring appeal of Fortnite’s classic content and contributed to stabilizing the company’s finances.

Epic seems to be embracing nostalgia, with a Chapter 2 Remix season currently live. Are you excited about the return of OG seasons? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
