GeForce NOW Adds Hunt: Showdown 1896, Forever Skies, and Nine Additional Titles to Cloud Gaming Library

NVIDIA has expanded its cloud gaming platform, GeForce NOW, with the addition of 11 new PC titles this week. The latest update features several noteworthy releases, including Hunt: Showdown 1896, the newly revamped horror-themed extraction shooter from Crytek, and Forever Skies, a sci-fi survival adventure that has officially launched its 1.0 version after a lengthy early access period.

Hunt: Showdown 1896 represents a substantial update to the 2019 original, enhancing visuals and gameplay with support for technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution (available through GeForce NOW for premium subscribers), DirectX 12, HDR displays, and multi-bounce global illumination. Despite recent workforce reductions at Crytek, which saw 15% of its staff laid off and a new Crysis title shelved, Hunt: Showdown remains a focal point of development thanks to its dedicated player base. Players can also look forward to upcoming DLC Last of the Herd, which introduces the Plains Warden playable character and the Herd Thinner hunting bow.

Meanwhile, Forever Skies by Far From Home has officially left early access, arriving as a full 1.0 release. The game now includes the final chapter of its narrative, expanded biomes, new colossal creatures, collectible artifacts and murals, and various quality-of-life updates. Performance improvements such as NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation are available for Ultimate tier subscribers on GeForce NOW.
