Lies of P DLC Set for Q1 2025 Release; NEOWIZ Ventures into Sci-Fi Survival Horror

In a recent announcement, NEOWIZ has confirmed that the eagerly awaited DLC for Lies of P will not be released until the first quarter of 2025. This update, reported by the Korean outlet EBN, aligns with the community's expectations given the recent silence surrounding the game's developments.

In addition to the upcoming DLC, NEOWIZ is actively seeking talent for a new project—a sci-fi survival horror game. This title is set to be developed using Unreal Engine 5 and will be available on both PC and consoles.

The studio is reportedly in dire need of a new hit, as this year has seen a significant downturn in performance. Despite Lies of P selling over one million units within its first month of release, aided by its availability on the Game Pass subscription service, NEOWIZ has faced a 21% decrease in sales and a staggering 68% drop in operating profit due to a lack of major releases in 2024.

To bolster its portfolio, NEOWIZ has also signed a publishing deal with ZAKAZANE, a studio founded by former developers from CD Projekt RED. This partnership will see NEOWIZ publish ZAKAZANE's upcoming single-player noir Western RPG.

As NEOWIZ navigates these challenges and opportunities, the gaming community eagerly anticipates both the DLC and the new survival horror project.

What are your thoughts on NEOWIZ's direction with the new sci-fi survival horror game? Are you excited for the Lies of P DLC? Let us know in the comments!
