Neverness to Everness Launches Limited Chinese Closed Beta Test

Hotta Studio has officially kicked off the limited-scale Chinese Closed Beta Test for its upcoming supernatural urban open-world RPG, Neverness to Everness, starting on November 28, 2024. This beta phase allows players in China to dive into the game and explore fresh content that has been recently added.

While players from other countries currently cannot participate in this Closed Beta, interested gamers can pre-register for Neverness to Everness on the official website. Additionally, fans can stay updated on the latest news by following Hotta Studio on X or joining their Discord server.

For those unfamiliar with the title, Neverness to Everness is designed to be a lighthearted experience filled with comedy, steering clear of serious themes. The developers aim to create a relaxed atmosphere, enhancing player enjoyment. Key features include:

  • Character Expressions and Animations: Fine-tuned to highlight emotional nuances and humorous details throughout the storyline.

  • Exploration of Hethereau: Players will navigate a vibrant city where anomalies and humans coexist, uncovering secrets and engaging in various quests.

  • Content Availability: The game currently features three chapters of main storyline content, alongside multiple side quests.

Developed using Unreal Engine 5, Neverness to Everness promises stunning realism and intricate details, providing an immersive experience as players traverse diverse environments—from neon-lit streets to dark, mysterious areas filled with anomalies.

Since its initial reveal in July, the game has introduced new characters for beta testers to interact with, including:

  • Adler: A playable character.

  • Edgar: A member of the Eibon Antique Shop, who will accompany the protagonist on their journey.

Participants in the Closed Beta will also encounter new chapter bosses, anomaly commission bosses, and additional storyline content, offering a deeper insight into what the full release will entail.
