Lunar Awakening Event Returns to Diablo IV on February 4
The Lunar Awakening event is making a comeback in Diablo IV, and will run from February 4 through February 18 at the same times. Whether you’re playing on the Seasonal or Eternal Realms, you’ll be able to partake in this special event by activating Lunar Shrines scattered throughout Sanctuary, each conferring a 100% bonus experience (multiplicative) for two minutes and an enhanced power. At the same time, you’ll accumulate Ancestral Favor Reputation, used to redeem event-exclusive rewards.
According to Blizzard, you should plan a visit to Ked Bardu, heading north to meet Ying-Yue, who presides over the Lunar Night Market. This location serves as the hub for the Lunar Awakening event, where you can exchange Ancestral Favor Reputation for Unceasing Gifts from Ancestors caches filled with items and decorative, Lunar Renewal-themed cosmetics.

Event Details
Throughout Sanctuary, standard Shrines have been replaced with Lunar Shrines, identifiable by a revamped Year of the Snake design and a distinctive map icon. By activating them (and defeating nearby monsters), players can accumulate a notable amount of Ancestral Favor Reputation. Activation grants:
100% bonus experience for two minutes.
Augmented Lunar Shrine effects to bolster your character’s powers.
Immediate spawn of Miserly Spirits, allowing quick synergy with the new Shrine benefits.
For the complete list of Augmented Lunar Shrine effects, you can visit the official Blizzard announcement. Among the event’s notable rewards are the Dragon of the Lonely Moon mount armor, the Trag’Oul’s Consort mount, and more. The list of all possible rewards can also be found on the Blizzard site.
