Noctua Delays Key Product Launches; NH-D15 G2 Now Set for Q3 2025
Noctua, renowned for its premium cooling solutions, has announced significant delays across several products in its roadmap. Most notably, the highly anticipated chromax.black version of the NH-D15 G2 CPU cooler, originally scheduled for release in Q2 2025, has now been pushed to Q3 2025. In addition, the launch of the next-gen 120mm fan has been postponed from Q1 to Q2, while the chromax.black version of the NF-A14x25(r) G2 has been rescheduled from Q1 to Q3. Furthermore, another chromax.black version of the next-gen 120mm fan is now set to launch in Q4 instead of Q1.
Notably, the next-gen dual tower CPU cooler appears to have been removed from the 2025 roadmap altogether and may now launch in 2026. While the reasons behind these delays remain unclear, Noctua is maintaining its commitment to quality and innovation. In contrast, the Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 Noctua Edition restock is proceeding as originally planned, offering a glimmer of stability amid the shifting schedule.
These adjustments in Noctua’s roadmap indicate a strategic pause, possibly to refine and optimize the next generation of cooling technology for current PC hardware. As enthusiasts await these products, the promise of improved performance and innovative features remains strong, even if the timeline has been extended.
How do you feel about the delay in Noctua's upcoming product launches? Are you willing to wait for better-optimized hardware, or does the new timeline put you off upgrading? Let us know your thoughts below!
