NVIDIA RTX 4070 To Be Discontinued In January, RTX 4060 & RTX 4060 Ti Headed for EOL in Q1 2025

NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 40 mid-range GPUs appear set for an early exit. According to recent reports out of China’s board channels, the GeForce RTX 4070 will no longer be restocked after this month, meaning once current supplies run out, it’s gone for good. Meanwhile, the RTX 4060 and 4060 Ti should remain on shelves a bit longer—till around March—though availability may still be affected once a final restock arrives in February.

This swift phase-out suggests NVIDIA is making room for the Blackwell-generation RTX 50 lineup, notably the upcoming RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti, rumored to hit in Q1 2025. The 4070 is already mostly overshadowed by its “Super” variants with more appealing price/performance ratios, so discontinuing the original model is likely part of NVIDIA’s broader strategy to transition to the newer generation cards. For budget-conscious buyers, the next few weeks may be the last window to snag an RTX 4060 or 4060 Ti before they vanish entirely.

Will you try to grab an RTX 4060 or 4070 before they’re gone, or do you plan on waiting for NVIDIA’s Blackwell-based GPUs? Let us know below!
