Rainbow Six Siege Introduces Full Cross-Play Between PC and Consoles

Ubisoft's Rainbow Six Siege is finally bridging the gap between PC and console players with the introduction of cross-play in the upcoming Year 9 Season 4: Operation Collision Point update. Launching this December, the new feature will allow players to team up regardless of their platform. If a PC player joins the team, however, matchmaking will be done via the PC pool for balance and fairness.

    • Enhanced AI text moderation to curb toxicity.

    • Improvements to the Reputation Center for player behavior monitoring.

  3. Historical Cross-Play Milestones:

    • Cross-play between PC, Amazon Luna, and Stadia in 2021.

    • Xbox and PlayStation cross-play introduced in late 2022.

  4. Balance Updates & Operator Improvements:

    • Operation Collision Point brings balance tweaks for Operators and ensures seamless gameplay across platforms.
