Star Wars Jedi Survivor on PS5 Pro Updates to Latest PSSR, Improves Image Quality

A new patch has arrived for Star Wars Jedi Survivor on the PlayStation 5 Pro, addressing a range of issues that have kept fans complaining for the past several weeks. Patch 10, according to the release notes on the game’s official subreddit, updates the PSSR (PlayStation Super Resolution) upscaler to its latest version, reducing flicker in foliage and volumetric fog, while also improving reflection fidelity in areas like Koboh River.

Jedi Survivor was previously among the worst offenders on PS5 Pro, sharing the limelight with titles like Silent Hill 2, primarily due to its earlier, buggy PSSR implementation. By contrast, other PS5 Pro-enhanced games—Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and God of War Ragnarok—demonstrated how well AI-upscaling can work if implemented correctly. It remains to be seen if the new patch elevates Jedi Survivor to that higher standard of visual polish, but initial impressions suggest noticeable improvements in image quality and overall stability.
