The Talos Principle: Reawakened Set for April 10 Release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC

Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Croteam have announced that the "radically overhauled reawakening" of The Talos Principle will launch under its new title, The Talos Principle: Reawakened, on April 10. This remastered version will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, promising a stunning visual upgrade by being rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5.

For PC gamers, a demo is currently available as part of Steam Next Fest, offering a taste of the revamped experience. The Steam Demo features a medieval environment packed with cherry-picked puzzles that showcase key mechanics such as laser connectors, pressure plates, and force-field jammers.

A release date trailer has also been unveiled to celebrate the upcoming launch, highlighting the new puzzle editors and reimagined environments.

While retaining the same beloved story, The Talos Principle: Reawakened enhances the Simulation world with improved textures, lighting, and environmental design, ensuring a richer experience than the original. Additionally, players will gain access to the acclaimed expansion, Road to Gehenna, which introduces a new chapter titled In the Beginning. This addition delves into the origins of the Simulation, adding new layers to the game’s complex narrative.

Moreover, the update brings a fully featured Puzzle Editor, empowering players and the modding community to create and share their own puzzles and worlds, further expanding the game’s replayability and creative potential.
