Winter Tales: Gifts From Above Event Brings Festive Fun to Dying Light 2: Stay Human
The holiday spirit has officially arrived in Dying Light 2: Stay Human with the launch of the Winter Tales: Gifts From Above event. Available starting today and running until January 2, 2025, the festive update transforms the zombie-infested city of Villedor into a snowy wonderland, complete with a centerpiece holiday tree in need of decorations. Alongside this event, Patch 1.20 brings additional enhancements and fixes to the game.
Deck the Tree, Claim the Rewards
Players can complete bounties from Baka or loot containers to collect ornaments and decorations to adorn the holiday tree. Fully decorating the tree comes with exclusive festive rewards, including:
Killer Krampus Outfit
Winter Sweets (in-game currency to spend at Baka's festive shack)
Baka's shack also introduces new items like the Skoll boomerang, throwable snowballs, and The Punisher weapon, giving players more creative ways to battle the undead this season.
Santa's Airdrops and New Enemies
As players increase their reputation with Baka, they can send letters to Santa via the postbox near his shack. Santa's festive airdrops will reward players with rotating loot, including pieces of the Killer Krampus Gear Set. To keep things exciting, a new enemy, the Ice Spitter, joins the ranks of Uncle Snows and Naughty Infected, challenging players with icy projectile attacks.
Patch 1.20 and a Special Holiday Gift
Patch 1.20 enhances gameplay by streamlining the Prologue, ensuring faster access to intense action. It also addresses community-reported issues, including the amusing yet frustrating headless Aiden bug during stomp animations.
