XMG NEO 16 Gaming Laptop Now Open for Pre-Order – High-End Intel and AMD Models with Next-Gen Cooling & Display Options
XMG has officially opened pre-orders for its flagship NEO 16 gaming laptop lineup, now available with both Intel and AMD configurations. This next-generation laptop series comes equipped with cutting-edge processors including Intel’s Core Ultra 9 27HX and AMD’s Ryzen 9 9955HX3D “Fire Range” CPUs, promising exceptional performance in the most demanding gaming scenarios.
The new NEO 16 models feature a range of RTX 50 series GPUs—RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and RTX 5070 Ti—with power configurations set at up to 175W TGP for the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, and up to 140W for the RTX 5070 Ti. Notably, the model combining the RTX 5090 with the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D is positioned as the fastest configuration in the market, boasting 24 GB of VRAM for intensive gaming titles and professional graphical workloads.
XMG has also reimagined the thermal management system of the NEO 16. The redesigned XMG OASIS cooling solution now incorporates larger copper heat sinks, integrated with copper heat pipes to optimize heat dissipation. Upgraded 80mm fans replace the previous 60mm units, and an additional 47mm fan has been added specifically to enhance RAM cooling—ensuring stable performance even during extended gaming sessions.

Display enthusiasts will appreciate the two 16:10 panel options offered with the NEO 16. Buyers can choose between a 300 Hz IPS panel with 1600p resolution or a premium Mini LED panel, which delivers double the brightness (1000 nits in HDR compared to 500 nits) along with an extended color gamut covering 100% DCI-P3 in addition to 100% sRGB. Other standout specifications include support for up to 96 GB of RAM (with future upgradeability to 128 GB), PCIe 5.0-enabled M.2 SSDs supporting up to 8 TB of storage, and a suite of connectivity options featuring a 2.5G LAN port, multiple USB Type A and C ports, and various display outputs.
Pricing starts at €2,699 for Intel-based models (NEO 16 E25) and €2,649 for AMD-based models (NEO 16 A25) featuring the RTX 5070 Ti. Upgrading to an RTX 5080 or RTX 5090 configuration will incur additional costs of €595 and €1,450 respectively. Pre-orders are now live via Best Ware, with shipping slated to begin in April or in line with NVIDIA’s embargo schedule.
