Hogwarts Legacy Latest PC Patch Adds Intel XeSS 2 Support, Extended NVIDIA Frame Generation, and More

A new patch for Hogwarts Legacy is now live on PC, delivering an array of improvements and new features designed to enhance both gameplay and mod support. The February 27th update introduces support for Intel XeSS 2, including its advanced frame generation capabilities available on Intel GPUs such as Alchemist and Battlemage. Additionally, the patch brings extended NVIDIA Frame Generation features—further building on the game’s existing support for Multi Frame Generation on NVIDIA RTX 5000 series cards—although details on these enhancements remain to be fully clarified.

Alongside these major graphical updates, the patch focuses on refining mod support and addressing various gameplay issues. Notable fixes include improvements to input prompts, text and interface elements, as well as gameplay adjustments for fast travel, unlocking the "Third Time's a Charm" feature, preventing silent restart issues when mods are active, and resolving instances where basic attacks left blank impacts on hit surfaces.

Hogwarts Legacy continues to be a tremendous success since its initial release in 2023, with plans for an expanded Definitive Edition featuring additional DLC content. Moreover, Avalanche Software is reportedly developing a second entry in the series—promising a non-live service experience in contrast to some of Warner Bros’ recent offerings.

The game remains available on multiple platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. For more detailed patch notes, visit the official Steam announcement.
