Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update Brings Mizutsune, New Challenges, and Features on April 4

Capcom has officially announced the first Title Update for Monster Hunter Wilds, scheduled to launch on April 4, 2025. This highly anticipated update introduces exciting new content, including returning monsters, brand-new challenges, and engaging social activities for all hunters to enjoy. The biggest highlight of Title Update 1 is the return of the beloved Bubble Fox Wyvern, Mizutsune, who made its last appearance in Monster Hunter Rise. Players eager to challenge Mizutsune can unlock the hunt by speaking to Kanya in the Scarlet Forest after reaching Hunter Rank 21.

Additionally, experienced hunters seeking greater challenges will encounter the Arch-tempered Rey Dau, debuting through a special Event Quest designed for those at Hunter Rank 50 and above. Successfully completing this challenging hunt will reward players with materials needed to forge the powerful new Rey Dau Gamma armor set.

Furthermore, players reaching Hunter Rank 50 will unlock a new mission to re-challenge Zoh Shia, enabling hunters to gather essential materials for crafting high-rank equipment for themselves and their Palico companions.

Alongside these hunts, Capcom introduces the Grand Hub, a social area that allows hunters to connect and engage in new activities. Notably, the Grand Hub includes the new Barrel Bowling minigame, where players can earn useful in-game items and pendants, enhancing the overall multiplayer experience.

Capcom also announced additional free DLC, bringing back classic gestures beloved by fans. Players who own the Premium Deluxe Edition or the Cosmetic DLC Pass will receive Cosmetic DLC Pack 1, allowing hunters to customize Alma’s outfit and change her glasses at no additional cost.

Monster Hunter Wilds continues to thrive, with this Title Update adding substantial content that enriches the experience, catering both to new players and seasoned hunters. The second free Title Update has also been confirmed for release later this summer, with more details coming soon.
