Wolcen Studio Schedules Second Closed Alpha for Project Pantheon, Expands PvPvE Mechanics and Customization Options
Wolcen Studio has officially unveiled new gameplay details and a fresh teaser trailer for its upcoming PvPvE extraction RPG, Project Pantheon. Alongside the reveal, the studio confirmed that the second closed alpha test is scheduled to take place later this month, giving select players another opportunity to dive into the evolving fantasy universe.
The closed alpha will begin on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. BT, and will run until Saturday, April 26 at 2:59 p.m. PT / 5:59 p.m. ET / 10:59 p.m. BT. Interested players can register for a chance to participate in the upcoming test by signing up through the official website. The deadline to sign up is April 22, 2025.
Players who already participated in the first closed alpha will automatically gain access to the second phase, without the need for re-registration.
What’s New in Project Pantheon’s Second Closed Alpha?
Wolcen Studio promises significant updates and feature additions in this round of testing. One of the headline changes is the introduction of the Sanctuary, a fully 3D navigable hub where players can customize their gear, craft runes, track achievements, and engage with core systems outside of combat.

Wolcen Studio confirmed plans for two more alpha tests following this one. The third closed alpha is set for Summer 2025, with a fourth phase scheduled for Autumn 2025, suggesting a consistent cadence of iterative updates as the game heads toward full release.
